New cooperation agreement signed with the CPCE
At the 21st General Assembly, a new cooperation agreement was signed between Centro Melantone and the Community of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE).
This agreement provides for deeper cooperation, broader financial support and the mutual exchange of information. General Secretary Dr Mario Fischer and Dean Carsten Gerdes (Chair of the Governing Council) signed the agreement in Rome. The proceedings were enriched by the keynote lecture ‘Theology of the Diaspora: What we can learn from minority churches about an important dimension of being the Church in relationships’.
