Accomodation

The Melanchthon Centre’s Residence is located on the second floor of the building at Via Aurelia Antica 391 and accommodates most of the students in the Theological Year. The 10 rooms, each with its own bathroom, telephone and internet connection, are practically and neutrally furnished in a modern style. There is a well-equipped communal kitchen. Directions by public transport from the main railway station:
Metro A in the direction of ‘Battistini’ to ‘Cornelia’ station; then take bus no. 889 in the direction of Mazzacurati. After four stops, get off at the ‘Aurelia Antica – Torre Rossa’ stop (runs every 12 minutes); alternatively: bus no. 892, in the direction of Aldobrandeschi (every 20 minutes), then continue on foot for about 200 metres.

It is also possible to stay in the Waldensian Faculty Convict (Via Pietro Cossa 42). The rooms there are fully furnished. Some of the bathrooms are shared. There is a large communal terrace to which some of the rooms are connected. All residents of the Convict have unlimited access to the library of the Waldensian Faculty. How to get there:
From the central station take the metro A in the direction of Battistini to the Lepanto stop; from there it is a 10-minute walk or take buses 30, 70, 280, 913 to Piazza Cavour. From Fiumicino, take the train in the direction of Orte or Fara Sabina to Roma Ostiense station. From there, take bus 280 to Piazza Cavour.

These two accommodation options are discounted for the academic year. If you don’t want to accept either of these offers, you can also look for accommodation on the Roman market.
